The family of ten-year-old Lily Peters has yet to speak publicly about their loss. They are understood, however – especially considering how young she was -to be devastated by this tragedy and in need of someone who can give them comfort during these difficult times.

Lily’s father called the police 

Lily’s family last saw her alive as she left the aunt’s house on Birch Street around 9 pm. She had been gone for over an hour and a half, but no one noticed because it was dark by then – just enough time for someone to slip away unnoticed in their town.

Her dad called the police after realizing that they hadn’t heard from or seen their daughter all day long; however, there were some complications during this call which led them down slippery slopes straight towards tragedy: “I need your help,” said Alexander Peters bravely into the phone receiver.

Lily’s death has left a mark on our community.
