Florida Rapper Spotemgottem is Dead

Spotemgottem Dead – Miami-based rapper SpotEmGottem, best known for his hit single “Beat Box 2” with Pooh Shiesty, was reported shot early Friday morning (September 17).

A lawyer representing the artist confirmed to TMZ that he is out of surgery and in stable condition after being wounded during a drive-by shooting this week outside their studio.

The driver of this car was reportedly shot at least 22 times on the passenger side.

The rapper broke through in 2020 with “Beat Box” and its numerous remixes featuring the likes of DaBaby, Pooh Shiesty (and more). Thanks to a viral TikTok dance called “The Junebug Challenge,” this song grew even more in popularity as celebrities such as Kevin Hart took part.

In July 2018, he was arrested on felony gun charges following an incident where police claimed that 19-year-old SpotEmGottEM lay next to an AK-47 assault rifle inside one hotel room bedside table.

The Dallas Police Department is looking for rapper Nehemiah Harden, who they believe to be behind recent murder victim Reginald Agnew Jr. His song “Again” has some harsh words that could help identify him as being responsible in this case–words like “playin’ with his life” and saying how he did not care about anything but getting paid anyway.”

The lawyer for SpotEmGottEM has released a statement regarding Det. Belew’s statements that they are “not interested” in their case and ridiculed them as well, writing: “The libelous statements made by the Dallas Police Department employee originated from her misunderstanding about YouTube’ rap video’ (in fact Livestream) which was streaming Reginald Agnew Jr.’s death.” They say this may lead to filing suit against DPD because it appears clear now why there has yet to be any reinvestigation into these incidents.

The Dallas Police Department finally reached out to my office this morning after months of trying unsuccessfully to contact them about detective Patty Belew’s reckless statements that falsely painted Nehemiah Harden as being involved in Reginald Agnew Jr.’s murder. It seems she got her wires crossed because now we know why nobody would speak up before these lies were identified for what they are—a complete fabrication.
