I Killed White Faced Varre – What if You Kill First NPC?
I Killed White Faced Varre – White-Faced Varre is one of the first people you’ll meet in Elden Ring. He can be found close to Site Grace, so visit him and take note when he offers tips for navigating this new world.
It is said that the player will make you into their bride at a certain moment. A similar remark can cause some players to take out Varre – but does this help our team? Let’s find out:
I killed White Faced Varre – What are the Consequences?
When you kill the White-Faced Varre’s, he will give 500 Runes and six festering Bloody Fingers. If killed before completing his storyline, though, it locks out any chance at earning more rewards from him, which is why I recommend starting a new game if that happens so we can get all those awesome items.
The game world of Elden Ring is expansive, with plenty to do and see. You can travel across its lands in any direction you like – there are no repetitive fetch quests or boring ol’ ran-in battles here.

The graphics engine has been built from scratch by the talented team at Biowhatscooking (their site includes an interactive map), so it’s beautiful to look at; not just during gameplay sessions where things might get immersion-breaking if they were too futuristic looking, but for example, but also when loading up previous saves file which will remind players how big everything was.
Can I kill the White-Faced Varre?
White-Faced Varre is an important character. If you decide to kill him, it’s best not to do so at the beginning of your game; this will cause trouble for yourself and other players who may also want his items! Instead, start by completing quests before deciding whether or not we should murder our friend here. When collecting Festering Bloody Finger from fallen enemies (that would be White FACES), know what level they are based on in addition.
One of the more helpful NPCs in this game is a drunk older man named Varre. He can be found near where you start, sitting on his deck chair and playing cards with other players who have come to visit him from all over Bright Island.

If you decide not to kill him, he’ll appear at one point during your adventure; make sure not to get too close when there’s no wind because those pesky pirates don’t hesitate to take advantage of an easy target like young slip-ups such as ourselves.
Can I revive Varre to life in Elden Ring?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to revive Varre in the Elden Ring. Though you can use Celestial Dew or atone for him with a sacrifice and prayer near his death site (if he has one), this will not apply if there are no churches left where someone could be born again as an aligned follower.
Did you murder Varre? Did he deserve to die for his crimes or be spared from execution so that the world may know what became of him? Let me know via the comments below.
